Hailing from Columbia, South Carolina, the reggae-rock group The Movement was formed in 2004 by a trio of Sublime and Pixies fans.

02.08.16 If you received a sticker…

Last spring we put a “free sticker” button on themovementvibe.com and didn’t say a word about it. It was a little experiment and we had no idea if anyone would ever see it or care about it.

But you did. You signed up for a free sticker and maybe you’ve been waiting patiently all this time, wondering if the sticker would actually ever come, or maybe you totally forgot about it.

A package is on it’s way to you right now! Some of you have already received it, and there’s more to it than just a sticker.

In a time when music is all digital and CDs collect dust on shelves, we wanted to give you something special… something you can hold onto and keep as a souvenir of sorts. Along with a sticker, you are also receiving a piece of the new album artwork, all cut by hand and individually numbered 1 through 890.

Please take a photo of your piece of the album artwork and post it on social media with hashtag #GoldenMvmt. This will allow others to see your piece of the artwork and we can make a collage out of all the photos. It’ll be fun.

And because you went out of your way and signed up for a sticker, we want to give you a sneak peek of things before the rest of the world finds out tomorrow.

Our new album is called GOLDEN, and it will come out on Rootfire Cooperative April 8, 2016!

We CAN’T WAIT for you to hear it. The first single will drop on February 23.

Here’s a little video we made about it all: https://youtu.be/ZwxIDCkUq4c
